Here is the first card created with this die & stamp set. I was able to use so many goodies...it truly made me happy. The coolest thing about this card is when they pull the zipper part, the rest of the sentiment appears...inside it says: You're all these things & more.
Goodies used: White card base & envelope, Paper Doily (Wilton), Glimmer Mist Black Magic, Pink Cardstock, White Cardstock, PTI Movers & Shakers Sentiment Stamp Set, PTI Movers & Shakers Zipper Die, Stampabilities Black & White Damask Print Paper, Memento Tuxedo Black Ink

I just hate when I am making a bunch of cards and I make a big enough mistake on one of them that I cannot put it in with the rest of the bunch...I think we have all been there. This was one of those cards. I stamped the background with PTI Grunge Me in pink...but I put the splatter image in the wrong place compared to the other cards, so I was not going to be able to sell it with the others...so for awhile, that card just stayed on my workspace and I kept looking at it and thinking to myself whether or not to just throw it away. Well, today was the day I decided to play with it and this is what I came up with. It was really genius, just stamp more splatters so you wouldn't even know where the mistake was. The only stap set used was Grunge Me...BTW I just LOVE the tiny bird with the long legs in this set-SUPER CUTE!
As I was taking photos outside today (incredibly gorgeous day for picture taking) here was my little helper...
Goodies used on the card: White card base & envelope, SU Pink Passion, Stampabilities Light Green Pigment Ink, Green Rhinestones (Wal-Mart), SU Basic Gray Cardstock, PTI Grunge Me Stamp Set

Today is the day I get to post my submission for the PTI April Blog Hop...it has been awhile since I have played along.
For the month of April PTI wanted to focus on fun florals, damasks & polka dots. Throw in the fun color scheme, and you have a recipe for the perfect project. Use the inspiration piece as a jumping point for your color scheme, pattern combinations, overall design or whatever else inspires your creativity.
Here is my creation:
I was able to use some of my favorite products on this card. Thanks for looking.
Goodies used on this card: PTI Doily Details, PTI Think Big Favorites #3, PTI Cane Impression Plate, Filigree Border Die, PTI Banner Border Die, White cardstock, pale blue textured cardstock, hot pink cardstock, Stampabilities Pink Toile Print Paper, SU Pink Passion Dye Ink,

As I said in the previous post, I am trying to get a good selection of cards together for an upcoming craft show in May...since it is right before Mother's Day, I thought I would try to blitz out more cards for that than anything else...here is another take on a Mother's Day card. I was able to use Glimmer Mist on this card on the doily (one of my most favorite "go-to" techniques). I also scored a package of pearls at Hobby Lobby this morning on clearance. The large flower stamp is from one of my first clear stamp sets I ever bought...I cannot even tell you the name of it anymore...but it is still a favorite and it is quite loved.
Goodies used on the card: Cream card base & envelope, Stampabilities Le London Background stamp, Tag-its #2 Mini Stamp Set, Stampabilities Pearls, Natural cardtock, Fillable Frame #10 Die, Fillable Frame #10 Stamp Set, Doily (Wilton), Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist-Coffee Shop

Two things about today's posts...first, I am crushing on the new paper line by Lori Whitlock called This & That for Echo Park. The colors are fun and can be used on any number of cards. And two, I am also crushing on the new Vera Bradley colors in the little mailer I just received. Of course the top card is my nod to Echo Park and the bottom is my Vera Bradley inspired card. I just wished I had more of a teal color in it other than the blue. I had an order for a second anniversary set of cards so I came up with these.
Goodies used on the cards...
Happy Second Anniversary (top): White card base & envelope, Heart Doily (Wilton ?), Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist Dragonfly, Doily Details Die, Echo Park Patterned Paper Graceful Collection from This & That,
Happy Anniversary 2: Beautiful Blooms II Stamp Set, White card base & envelope, Flower Fusion #9 Stamp Set, Fillable Frame #11, Pin It

Okay...so it is not Mother's Day...yet. I decided to have a small basket of Mother's Day & Father's Day cards on my table display...here is the first Mother's Day card for the basket. There is a lot going on here, but I think it all works. I came across the 50% off paper at Hobby Lobby at the printed paper just screamed at me to take it home...I am in love with the colors, blue, rose, pale green & cream.
Goodies used on the card: Butterfly die, Filigree Border Die, Limitless Layers 2.5" Die, Women of Life Stamp Set, Cane Print Impression Plate, Cream Cardstock, Hobby Lobby Printed Paper, Kraft Card Base & Envelope (Hobby Lobby), Mini Clothespin (Michaels), Stampabilities Le London Script Background Stamp, Staz-On Ink Timber BrownPin It

I am still working feverishly for the craft fair coming up in May and I want to have enough of a selection of cards that I have or can create...today's selection is a boy/dad card. I bought the guitar die from PTI awhile back and I always meant to buy the stamp set that goes with it...well it finally came.
Goodies used on this card are: Music Embossing folder, Super Star Border Die, Rock On Mini Stamp Set, Rock On Die

I just love when my Papertrey orders arrive...:) I decided to make a quickie card using the Rosie Posie hexagon border stamp to create a happy background in orange...I used the star stamp from Framed Out #1 to fill in the hexagons. I was actually very excited to use a very old old old product in my collection on this card...my Fiskars wavy scissors. Talk about a blast from the past...I haven't used those since I first began papercrafting (like 9 years ago). The sentiment and die cut frame is from the Framed Out #1 as well.
Since I am getting ready for my first craft fair in May...this will be in the card section. :) Pin It
