Retirement Card

I have been working on a few cards for the craft fair and I thought I would share what I have been creating in the card department.  I wasn't doing very elaborate cards, but I thought I would offer a few.  Those who know me, know I absolutely LOVE Papertrey Ink...ironically enough I haven't placed an order with them for stamps in over a year.  I know, I know...how weird.  Every month I watch with baited breath as PTI releases the new stamps, dies, ink, embellishments for the month and I think..."I am definitely ordering this month!"   I even go so far as to put the stamp sets in my shopping cart...I always make sure I have $65 dollars so I can get FREE shipping...and then I click close on the website.  I just really can't afford it...it is a luxury that just isn't on the radar for me.  I instead search Ebay and Splitcoaststampers for used sets at a better price.

I have made it a mission for me to find the cards I love from Papertrey Ink and create my own version if you will...Click HERE to see the card for my inspiration.  It was created with their new woodgrain impression plate.  I found a Tim Holtz impression plate today at Hannah's, I used a random small floral clear acrylic stamp and my favorite set from Papertrey Ink that I got off of SCS called Mega Mixed Messages.  I finished it off with a little aging with some brown & vanilla ink and some brown rustic twine.
