I absolutely ADORE Papertrey Ink...I think next to Basic Grey, they are my favorite papercrafting products. My problem is...I can't always afford to make a purchase from them. Nichole Heady, the founder of PTI, has inpired me to create beautiful cards with what I have. For example...I scrap-lifted this card from her blog...she is releasing a new set of stamps and I look forward to this time of the month on her blog to see what is new and exciting. She is releasing a new stamp set with a large dahlia flower...click here to look at the card she made (super beautiful). Any-hoo...I found some stamp I bought from Close to My Heart, called Fabric Finishes and created the plaid background in SU colors-Summer Sun & Pumpkin Pie. I also stamped a large flower form an unknow Acrylic set (I think I bought it at Archiver's a while ago) on white cardstock in Staz-On Ink. I then colored the flower with a couple different yellows & oranges from SU. Added the polka dot texture to the flower with my Cuttlebug & polka dot folder. I added the orange grosgrain ribbon and made it fancy by looping it two times on each side. The whole thing was mounted on craft cardstock. The front of the card measures 4.25x5.5.
