Hap...BEE Birthday Card

I decided to work with a few new techniques for this card. I stamped the bumble bee (Basic Grey-clear acrylic stamp) on the card, then I stamped the same image on a piece of white paper and colored in the wings and center of the bee with Stampin Up! YoYo Yelow and Tempting Turquoise. I cut the bee out of the white paper and added pop dots and placed it on top of the stamped image on the card. The background papers are Baby Boy (yellow) from Basic Grey and the blue is also Basic Grey (paper line escapes me right now). I also did my first paper rosette on this card. I followed the instructions I found on Splitcoast Stampers under the resource section. I cut a piece of paper to 12"x3/4" and used my Fiskars scalloped edge border punch to go along one side. After it was punched I used my Scor-Pal to scor the scallops, then I foled them mountain/valley fold. Once they are folded I attached both open ends to each other with Scor Tape. I punched out a small 1/2" circle and attached the rosette to the circle and then added the smaller circleon top of the rosette to secure it all together.
