My First Buckle Card

I created this card for my daughter to bring to her friends birthday party today. I used a textured red/burgundy cardstock for one of the inside layers and I mounted a sheet of white cardstock on top of that (for the birthday sentiment), I then used a piece of yellow cardstock for the body of the card (I was told it was her favorite color). The strip of yellow paper with white swirls was put on to cover up 2 ink spots my youngest did to the outside of the card. She is crafty and sneaky at the same time. I also used my SU flower punch for the 3 flowers. I also used an EK punch in 1/4" (?) for the inside of the flowers. I outlined the flowers with my black pen and added a brad in the middle and mounted them with glue dots so they would come off the page. This card is called a "buckle card" due to the strip of paper that "buckles" into the left flap of the card. I found the tutorial here on SplitcoastStampers. If you are thinking of making this card or already have, post your link for me to view yours as well.
