Basic Grey "Marakesh" Sister Layout
I have started to create pages with the products form the new 2009 Memory Works product catalog. The first page I did was for a b&w photo I have had in my collection for awhile now. This is one of my most favorite photos of my 2 youngest kids. I took it in b&w and thought it would look fantastic against the bright colors. I used 3 different papers from the line, brads, and the element stickers (a heavier type of sticker than normal). I distressed the heck out of the paper...my most favorite technique. If you look back at what I have created in the past on here...most everything has some sort of distressing done to it. I also used staples and a font I found on 1000 Free Fonts...(http://www.1001freefonts.com/asian-fonts.php) Thsi font is called "owahtagusiam" I thought it had a very relatable quality to the paper line. I submitted this layout on the Basic Grey website. Maybe it will be selected to join the other Marakesh layouts they have posted on there.
