I was so excited to see my order from Reverse Confetti in my mailbox today! I ordered Frieda Fox because I have developed a HUGE love of Copic markers. She is perfect to color in with them. However, Copic markers are like super pricey...so I have only been buying a few every other week. So...until I get the color combinations I need for her I tried my hand at paper piecing. Paper piecing is when you stamp the image on multiple sheets of card stock and designer paper and piece it all back together again like a big puzzle. Luckily for me she is an awesome image to do this with as well.
Here is what I came up with:
I paired her with a great new paper I found at my local scrapbook store...it is called letterpress by Bazzill Basics Paper...it has a great texture to it. I also used the coordinating paper called Chevron Stripe & Blue Dot. I also added a staple to hold the banners and a button with some hemp twine. A fun little card if I say so myself.
