May 2013 Craft Show

I just finished my 1st craft show for the year...it was held on May 4th at the Round Lake Civic Center.  It was a weird weather day..so I did not do as well as last year...but not bad in the end.

The next craft show is scheduled for June 1st at our local library...I have a booth but it is outside...so now I am in search of a tent...:)

New PTI Goodies...

First up is Mega Gracious Vases...I did not buy the die to go with this set but the vases are super easy to cut out.  Both  cards today use Basic Grey paper...this one is from Konichiwa.

Next up is Basic Grey Lemonade paper line with PTI Floral Foliage Die & Stamp.  I also experimented with die cutting a coaster with the Floral Foliage Die...then I mounted the Lemonade paper on top of it.

PTI Make It Monday

I don't think I have ever participated in any of the Papertrey Ink's Make It Monday Challenges...so today I decided to create something for this week's challenge.  The idea is to make a faux pocket on a card.  Here is my entry...

I was finally able to use a paper line I have been sitting on for quite a while...the Miss Caroline line from My Mind's Eye.

Enjoy...Deb Pin It

Mini Halloween Greetings...

I have been working with the concept of mini cards for awhile now.  I love to give tiny cards when I can and it is the perfect size for Halloween school parties or teacher gifts.

Just A Little Something 4 You...

One of my favoite stamps sets from Papertrey Ink is Tagged Sentiments.  I am always glad when I can use this set on a card.  Today's submission is "Just A Little Something 4 You".  This is a pretty complex card, with many layers...doily, bakers twine & eyelets are a few embellishments used.

Hey don't I know you...a.k.a. Where have I been?

What a whirlwind of a summer...it got pretty dodgy there for awhile.  I have been busy cooking, testing new recipes, looking for a steady job, perfecting my Edward & Bella Cullen cupcake for November's release of the last Twilight movie...more details on that closer to November.

Time to get back into the swing of things...first craft show is scheduled on Sept 29...first time doing this one...but if it is like the Spring show I did...I should have a fantastic show.  Since we are sliding into October here soon, I decided to start off with some Halloween cards.  Whatever doesn't sell at the craft show, will be available in my etsy store.

Have I ever said how much I LOVE Halloween?  And yet, I don't like scary movies, haunted houses or blood...go figure.

I am working with paper from last season...it is still cute and I need to save money somewhere...:)

Coupon Card

I just finished an order for a client and they requested a "coupon-type" card...this was my take on it...
I used the Movers & Shakers Zipper Die from Papertrey Ink.  I could totally see a little coupon book made with this die. Pin It
